Be who you R////Red13 for everything
Born and raised in Dallas, Texas through will, skill, and Gods fortune. On both my mom and dad side of the family are people who were not just smart and hard working but musically gifted, being singers and musicians alike, my grandfather played the organ in church before I was born and my dad picked up drumming when he was a preteen directly inspired by my papa, my moms voice fostered the gift I have to sing myself. God gave me many tools to start with that i didnt ask for to make more of myself in a brilliant and artistic way. Ive always been very grateful of that. Growing up I didnt come from the richest of families but we were rich in HEART and SPIRIT. Family gatherings always filled with laughter and someone asking me to sing at somepoint is always a great memory of mines. My deep love for my family always made me want to make them proud and protect them, and if possible make their lives better with my own gifts and will. When I was a kid i idolized my favorite super heroes(Robin the Boy Wonder, Superman, Batman, Spiderman) , and video game characters(Sonic The Hedgehog, Super Mario, Mega Man) alot because they represented the ability to overcome your limitations. Though I was gifted and talented in many ways, being a black male in America I always had to prove im worth more than the stigmas society saw me through. Im a singer first thanks to my mom and dad but ive always been infatuated with beats and hip hop(shout out to the 90s, neo soul, jazz &alt). I didnt really get into making beats till I was in highschool. When I was a kid if you asked me what i wanted to be id probably tell you an inventor or something, technology and gadgets are fun interests of mines. Out of all the heroes with the fancy powers, I thought Robin(a side kick made leader) was one of the coolest. I used to watch Teen Titans on Cartoon Network religiously. Learned from Batman himself , he had no powers but could take care of almost any task and made everything himself and thats the type of brilliance I saw for myself. When I finally took on the Boy WNDR name it was 2012, i was still a freshman in highschool but I knew that though I was making music, there was alot more I wanted to convey, alot more I wanted to invent of myself. Now here in 2022 fully realized through years of hard work and redifining 1D3R has become an idea I can channel all of my family's love, hard work and support, my hopes, dreams and personal growth through and im so glad to be able to finally present it to the world in this way.
